I am taking a long awaited vacation!!!!

I am hoping that I will get some of my mind back so that I can serve my clients better :) I go to sleep, dream about and wake up thinking about photo shoots, orders that need to be placed, taxes that need to be paid etc etc...

Sooo - I am taking a vacation with friends and family. A couple of trips to a couple of places. And I don't even get the WHOLE time off! I have to take all my friends' family pictures while I am on my first vacation (but I love my friends so they are worth it). I also am taking all 8 kids pictures while we are away. I will be sure to come back and post some of them! Luckily, while I am gone I will also be getting my OWN family pictures done by a wonderful photographer down in South Jersey. We are so excited!

Then it is on to the beautiful scenery of upstate NY - where you had better bet I will be taking pics like CRAZY. But those will be for me... I am hoping to get to relax and maybe actually read a book! I used to read all the time before I started my own business. Here is a little fact for you - I was an English major at RU. As of now, I haven't read a book in over a year (unless it was photography related).

To all of my recent clients: If you have a gallery up right now or orders that need to be placed - if you have your order AND payment to me on or before the 24th of July I will be sure to place your orders before I leave. That way by the time I get back from my trip they should be here waiting for me and I can mail them out to you as soon as I get back. This would be very helpful to me as well because I have two shoots as soon as I get back and I leave again on the 10th for a photography workshop in North Carolina (gotta be sure you are getting the best pics possible - so I am taking an amazing course to try and learn more!!!)

Oh - and here is some more big news. In Their Eyes will soon launch a new and improved website - so stay tuned! I hope to have it up and running very soon (I may even have it done before I leave!!!) One more thing I have on my TO DO list that seems to grow every day -LOL... I cannot wait to show you all - it is just amazing...

Thank you everyone!!!! Laura

My favorite age....

Anytime between 6 and 9 months... They are happy, sitting, sometimes crawling - and thankfully not yet running! Check out those sparkly eyes...

And the location was amazing... A college right here in our very own state of NJ! It is just beautiful - and made me want to take a million pictures...

A communion and sibling shoot...

We had a great time! Because of the holiday I didn't have time to put up the 'sneak peek' like I usually do. So here are my favorites from the session... He was a trooper hanging in for a ton of pics - and she was a little supermodel!!!

Not even two weeks old....

And he wouldn't sleep for me! But he was so cute and cooperative. Didn't cry for one second - and so tiny and foldable. Just completely squeezeable... We didn't have much time together, but we got some adorable pics. Here are a couple - and of course one of big sis!
